Waste Management of Electrical and Electronic Equipment
WEEE Management
The management of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) is of utmost importance due to the increasing amount of this waste that is produced and because it contains, in some cases, products or materials that are hazardous to people’s health or the environment.
Characteristics
Collection
Of all the steps for its correct management, collection is one of the most sensitive. It is important that we pay attention to the characteristics of each waste, which will prevent them from damaging the environment. This is the basis for us to be able to offer a quality service that is useful for our customers, while at the same time respecting the natural environment.
WEEE is collected from different sources. Households, businesses, industries or institutions are the most prominent. The collection is done separately and we carry out an optimal transport for each type of material. This ensures that the necessary recycling can take place, that damage is prevented, that potential reuse is avoided and that any chemicals that may be present are kept contained.
Permits and authorizations
We are registered and have the necessary permits and authorisations to process this waste.
In addition, we have containers adapted to the seven legal categories of WEEE: temperature exchange devices, monitors and screens, lamps, large and small appliances, small IT and telecommunications equipment and photovoltaic panels.
Authorized WEEE waste manager

Integral process
At Yainfe we take care of both the management of the waste itself, including the management of hazardous WEEE, and the associated document management.
We carry out the necessary procedures for shipment, treatment contracts and notification to the authorities. In this way, we can act safely from the transport to the final handling of each waste.
In short, the proper treatment of electrical and electronic waste is essential, as it poses a danger to human health and to the environment itself. For this reason, we carry out a complete, exhaustive and focused work on the characteristics of each type of waste to be treated.
